Exhibitor Registration and Information
Venue: Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge, on the Chena River near Fairbanks International Airport. Exhibits will be in the Edgewater Room and adjoining areas. The planning committee has scheduled special exhibits-only periods with no scheduled conflicts. Continental breakfast, coffee service, and book signings (Saturday) all take place in the Edgewater Room.

We expect an attendance of approximately 250 librarians, authors, and general public . As always, this is a combined conference of the Alaska Library Association and the Alaska Association of School Librarians. The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) conference will overlap ours, and Saturday 3/27 will draw attendees of that conference, as well as the general public for the book signings in the exhibits area on Saturday, 11-4.

Confirmation will be sent by email upon receipt of registration. Assignment of tables will be done by the Exhibits Committee.

Commercial membership is available, and provides a reduced exhibits fee . Simply complete the membership on the registration form. Among the benefits, members receive Conference discounts, Alaska Library Directory, AkLA's Newspoke, and subscription to AkLA-L, the association mailing list.

Sponsorships from exhibitors are warmly welcomed and gratefully acknowledged. The exhibitor registration form provides an opportunity to sponsor events.

Exhibits set-up starts at 10 am Thursday, March 25, 2004.

Exhibits open at 5:30 pm Thursday with a Reception honoring exhibitors. Exhibits will be open on Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and on Saturday from 8 am to 4:30 pm (the last Exhibits Coffee Break for attendees is 4-4:30). Breakdown will start at 4:30 pm (to be completed by 7 pm) on Saturday, March 27.
Note: breakdown time is a slight change from that in the initial Call for Exhibits.

Utilities/Internet access: Electricity, phone lines, and wireless internet connections are available first-come,
first served (see under "Utilities" on Registration Form).
Your needs will determine in part table placement in the exhibit hall.

Shipping exhibit materials: You may ship your materials to the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge (address, see #2 above) to arrive no earlier than March 18, 1 week prior to the conference. The onsite person's name, firm, and "AkLA Conference" should be clearly visible on labels.

Late registration begins with registrations postmarked or faxed March 6 or thereafter.
Requests for refunds will be honored until March 20, 2004 minus a $50.00 processing fee.
