Opening Reception Honoring Exhibitors (5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Edgewater)
- UAF Jazz Combo
- Visit and / or have your photo taken with our splendidly costumed "Raveneer" Joe Alloway, former Nanooks mascot. (Prints will be available for a small fee, an AkLA fundraiser)
- Play Exhibitor Bingo and win prizes
Variety Entertainment (7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. in the Jade Room)
- 7:00-7:30 p.m. - The Chill Factor (Jo Knox and his barbershop quartet)
- 7:30-8:00 p.m. - Red Hackle Pipe Band (Dennis Stephens and his fellow pipers plus some high-stepping Highland dance)
- 8:00-8:30 p.m. - Noor Shimaal (Robyn Russell and members of her Middle Eastern Dance Troupe)
- 8:30-9:00 p.m. - Trina and the Triceratops (Storyteller Marcia Trainor and others)
- 9:00-9:30 p.m. - Sandi Trumbower and Her Live Raven (wildlife rehabilitator talks about ravens; her rehabilitated raven will be in a cage)
Friday March 26
Movie: The Chechachos (9:00-10:30 p.m. in the Jade Room)
- Dirk Tordoff, UAF Film Archivist, will give a brief intro to this historic silent film. (Popcorn available for a small fee)
Storytelling: Stories to Help Us Remember Who We Are with Donald Davis (9:00-10:00 p.m. in the Copper Room)
- Davis' performance centers around "Miss Rosemary's Kindergarten" and shows how stories connect us with our memories and experiences.
Saturday March 27
Fairbanks Shakespeare Theater: Bard-A-Thon (9:00-11:00 p.m. in the Copper Room)
- Cast and volunteers (and audience members, if they so desire) will read from "The Winter's Tale", the production that will be touring the state this year.
Storytelling: Unexpected Days! with Donald Davis (9:00-10:00 p.m. in the Jade Room)
- Davis presents stories about those days when what was expected didn't happen!
