Subject: Sandy Littletree appointed as KR Manager!

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Sandra Littletree as Knowledge River Program Manager at SIRLS.
Sandy is an alum of Honoring Generations, a program under the direction of Loriene Roy at the University of Texas at Austin. Since 2007, Sandy has been a librarian at North Carolina State University, where as a Fellow she has been involved in a wide range of university library activities. She has also had a number of special experiences that will suit her well for Knowledge River. She has been an intern at the National Museum of the American Indian. She researched and created the Landmark Documents in American Indian History, a resource for the American Indian Experience, an American Mosaic Online Resource. For ALA, she has guided the creation of an advocacy toolkit for native and tribal libraries.

Sandy will start on June 1. Please join me in welcoming her to the University of Arizona, SIRLS and Knowledge River.

Jana
