Hi Everyone:

Below is a great opportunity of someone who would be interested attending UBC's library school. Read below:

Please assist in informing potential applicants to UBC's School of Library, Archival & Information Studies about our Virtual Open House. This virtual information session is for all interested applicants and potential applicants, focusing particularly on the January 2010 admissions but open to all who are interested in finding out more about applying to SLAIS, funding, employment and experiential learning, etc.

This session will be held online on Tuesday, April 21, from 1-6 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time, or 4-9 p.m. Eastern. You may drop in at anytime during the open house.

The chatroom we are using is browser-based. This means you can access it without any special software or membership requirements. Please see access instructions at http://www.slais.ubc.ca/ADMISSIONS/admissions-overview.htm. We do recommend that is possible you try to log into the chatroom before the session and try it out.

If you have difficulty accessing the chatroom, contact SLAIS Student Services Coordinator Michelle Mallette at michelle.mallette@ubc.ca.

SLAIS is currently accepting applications for the Master of Library & Information Studies, and the joint or dual degree Master of Archival Studies/Master of Library & Information Studies, for studies starting in January 2010. The deadline for application for January admission is June 1st.
