Hello,
     AkLA-A is once again participating in the Anchorage Literacy Project's Biz Bee.  It will be held on October 17th at the new Dena'ina Center beginning at 6:30 PM.  
     Our Biz Bee spellers for AkLA-A this year will be: Nancy Clark, Natalia Soto and Rick Henderson.  Nancy and Rick are Librarians with Anchorage Public Libraries and Talia is the Librarian at Charter College. 
     AkLA-A has a table for ten to support our Dewey Decimators.  The tickets for the table are $10 per seat.  Two tickets have already been purchased so there are 8 seats left.  If you want to join the table, please respond to prockish@alaska.net , not to this list-serve.
     I will also bring table tickets and word pass tickets to the AkLA-A meeting on Thursday, October 9th at 4:15 p.m. 

         If you wish to contribute toward a word pass (1st one for $100, 2nd one for $200, or a 3rd one for $300) and cannot attend the meeting on the 9th, please contact prockish@alaska.net
